The 2022 American Women Quarters Series begins with the acclaimed author, Maya Angelou. These coins are part of a continuing series that will last for four years, with five historical acclaimed American Women being honored a year. The Maya Angelou coins are in high demand, with the San Francisco coins selling out within a couple of minutes upon release at the mint. There was also very limited mintage on the collector issues as well, with the mint selling out of them within 24 hours after release.
