The 2025 Ida B Wells Quarter Roll from the San Francisco mint is now available. The 2025 P Ida B Wells Quarter is the first release American Women Quarter released in 2025 as part of the American Women Quarters program from the US mint. This is a full roll of 40 Ida B Wells Quarters from the San Francisco mint in Brilliant uncirculated condition.

The Obverse side features the classic side profile of George Washington, the year it is minted (2025) and the S Mint Mark indicating it is from the San Francisco Mint. The reverse features Ida B Wells, an icon in the Civil Rights movement in the United States.

Who is Ida B Wells? She was born into slavery on July 16, 1862, in Holly Springs, Mississippi, Ida B. Wells grew up during the Reconstruction Era and later became a prominent journalist, educator, and activist. Wells is best known for her tireless efforts to document and expose the horrors of lynching in the United States. She published groundbreaking investigative journalism that brought attention to racial violence and injustices.

Later she went on to play prominent roles in the creation of he National Association of Colored Women and a significant contributor to the early women's suffrage movement, Wells was an advocate for intersectional equality—fighting for both racial and gender justice. She also was a founding member of he National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).
